November 12th

  • Complete Practices 10-12 on p. 11 of your Subordinate Clause and Pronouns packet.

November 11th

  • Complete Practices 6-8 on p. 6 of your Subordinate Clause and Pronouns packet.

November 9th

  • Complete Practice 3 (on a separate sheet of paper) and Practice 5 on pp. 3 and 4 of your Subordinate Clause and Pronouns packet.

November 8th

  • Complete Practice 1 and 2 on p.2 in your Subordinate Clause and Pronouns packet.

November 5th (due Tuesday)

  • Translate Polyphemus (p. 61-62, lines 11-30) to turn in.
  • Translate Aeneas Escapes from Polyphemus (p. 63 in your book) to turn in. (It's a little long, but I think you'll recognize something fun towards the end!)
  • Keep learning your vocab and reviewing your verb and noun endings!

November 5th (in-class assignment)

  • Translate The Fall of Troy (pp. 56, lines 20-30) to turn in.
  • Translate Aeneas Flees from the City Troy (p. 58 in your book) to turn in.
  • Translate Polyphemus (p. 61, only up to 10) to turn in. Use the same sheet of paper for all three translations.

November 4th (in-class assignment)

  • Translate The Ransom of Hector (p. 52 in your book) to turn in.
  • Translate The Fall of Troy (pp. 55-56 up to line 20; "in urben ducere.") to turn in.

October 29th

  • Translate the last two paragraphs on p. 45 of your book.

October 26th

  • Review your noun and adjective endings as well as adverb formation.

October 25th

  • Review your noun and adjective endings as well as noun-adjective agreement.

October 21st

  • Complete exercises 4 and 6 in your Verbs and Preps packet.

October 19th

  • Complete p. 2 in your Verbs and Preps packet (to turn in).

October 18th

  • Complete practice 11 on p. 8 of your Third Declension packet.
  • Vocab help: small (parvus, a, um); long (longus, a, um); deep (profundus, a, um); evil (malus, a, um)

October 11th

  • Complete exercise 4 in the 3rd Declension Packet on a separate sheet of paper.
  • Translate (to turn in) the last sentence of the first paragraph and the second paragraph on p. 31.

October 8th

  • Complete exercises 2 and 3 on the Vocative case and Complementary Infinitives in your packet.

October 7th

  • Complete exercise 10 in your verb Conjugation packet.
  • Study your vocab!

October 5th

  • Complete exercises 1 and 3b in your Verb Conjugation Packet.

October 4th

  • Review 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd -io, and 4th Conjugations.
  • Review the verb sum, esse, fuī, futūrus.

October 1st

  • Complete exercises 4.1, 4.2, and 4.3 on p. 113 of your book.

September 28th

  • Finish Question #4 on the final page of the packet (short story), and complete p. 4 of the packet to turn in.

September 24th

  • Finish pp. 3 and 4 in the Second Declension packet.
  • Review the First and Second Declension noun endings in preparation for adjectives.
